"This song came about soley off the feeling of the Greg Perry sample AraabMuzik used. The nostalgia got us talking about the greats that have passed, which gave us the idea of using their voices (B.I.G and Tupac) for a segway between verses instead of the generic "soul singing" style hook you'd expect on this style of track. We also didnt want to do the generic "sample a dope lyric", we wanted to use a quotable that had meaning in their thought process, of life not just music.
