Scholarich, a brand that utilizes music, entertainment, and sports to make education more appealing to students is bringing back their Annual Book Drive Concert. One of the goals of the non-profit organization is to raise enough money to make a difference with community endeavors while providing a great platform for artists to share their talent.
Last year,Stalley teamed up with the brand to collect over 500 books in New York City. This year, opening acts include Skyzoo, She’s Ryan, Slim Dollars, Chewy Garcia, and more. The headliner is Mack Wilds as he joins the foundation to hopefully surpass the goal of last year.
Besides just recently being Grammy nominated and working on several projects, Mack is known for his philanthropy in the community. Believing in his dream and achieving it, Mack is inspiring the next generation as he recently spoke to the students of Duke Ellington School of the Arts. “He is an artist that fits the mold of what we are trying to do, which is bridge the gap between philanthropy and entertainment” says Kamau Harper of Scholarich.
